Floor Remodel

Pictures from the remodeling work we had done this week.

The living room emptied of everything (except the dog), 7am Monday morning.

Day 3: the kitchen knocked my socks off! It was the unexpected star of this show. I had no idea the wood would look so good in there.

Day 4: A 26-hour power outage coincides with the one day our bathroom will be out of commission as the tile sets. I have no picture of it but the fixtures were inside the bathtub during this time. No A/C, no bathroom, 8 months pregnant… Here’s what it looked like the next morning with the fixtures back in place.

Day 5: Bathroom complete!

Just a few finishing touches are needed: some t-molds, reducers, and a stair nose. We’ll also re-paint the base molding.
